Hugo Sanchez

Hugo Sanchez was born in Mexico City on July 11, 1958. He played as a striker in soccer for many teams over his career. He became a very well known player in Mexico and eventually made it in Europe also. He helped his team in the 84 - 85 season win the Spanish Cup, the Spanish Supercup, and come in second in the Spanish LaLiga. That year he also one the Pichichi trophy for being the best scorer in the league. In his whole career he played roughly 769 games and scored an amazinf 477 goals. He is known as one of the legends in Mexico in the sport of soccer and places an impact on players today in Mexico.
