When I went to homecomming in Monticello we went with a group with some couples. One of the other girls was a mexican. what was really cool about her was that she was proud to be mexican. If someone ever talks bad about mexicans she stands up for mexicans. One time I know for instance she put her Facebook status to something along the lines of I cant change who I am or what I have come from so if you cant handle it then thats that because I love being a mexican and I wouldn't want to be anything else. i think it's really cool that she stands up for herself and her culture when everyone tries to put it down.
