Spanish Wedding

I went to Texas last summer for my cousins wedding. Her fiance's name is Xavier. He is Mexican. I was really excited to go to the wedding because there was going to be Spanish traditions in it. The wedding programs were made in English and Spanish. The first reading at mass was read in English, and a Spanish translation was in the program. The second reading was read in Spanish, and there was an English translation in the program. Most of Xavier's relatives spoke English, but some didn't, and some only knew a few words. At the mass, there was a lasso tradition. A big lasso/rosary was put around both my cousin and Xavier and they said their vows tied together.
The reception was very fun. I tried dancing to the music but i couldn't keep up with everyone. The dances they all did were really fast and had a lot of hip movements in them. I can't wait to go back next summer and practice speaking Spanish with my new relatives.
